Aroldo



The opera Aroldo was composed by Giuseppe Verdi to a libretto by Francesco Maria Piave based on Harold, the Last of the Saxon Kings by Edward Bulwer-Lytton. It was first performed at Teatro Nuovo in Rimini (Italy) on 1857-08-16 and published by Ricordi. The opera is set in England and Scotland.
