The opera Turandot was composed by Giacomo Puccini to a libretto by Giuseppe Adami and Renato Simoni based on Turandot by Carlo Gozzi. It was first performed at Teatro alla Scala in Milan (Italy) on 1926-04-25 and published by Ricordi. The opera is set in Beijing.
