The opera Loreley was composed by Alfredo Catalani to a libretto by Giuseppe Depanis, Giuseppe Giacosa, Luigi Illica, Carlo d'Ormeville, and Angelo Zanardini It was first performed at Teatro Regio Ducal in Milan (Italy) on 1890-02-16 and published by Lucca (publisher). The opera is set in Rhineland.
