Nabucco



The opera Nabucco was composed by Giuseppe Verdi to a libretto by Temistocle Solera based on Nabucodonosor by Antonio Cortesi and Nabuchodonosor by Auguste Anicet-Bourgeois. It was first performed at Teatro alla Scala in Milan (Italy) on 1842-03-09 and published by Ricordi. The opera is set in Babylon and Jerusalem.
